Since 2024
Celeste joined New Genre in January 2024, bringing with her a sharp eye for brand and print, and an ability to lift identity systems into experiences that span print, screen, and motion.
A sponge for discovery, she is always chasing new ways to give form and feeling to a brand; through reading, attending the odd Nicer Tuesdays, and as a prolific link-sharer in our studio Slack. If the studio was a class, Celeste would be a delight to have — her sunshine-yellow personality always sitting in the front row, asking the questions that spark better answers.
A native of Melbourne, Celeste is a recent expatriate and adoptee of London; still refining the rituals that make each day special in her new home across the globe. Rooted in community and family values, she views good relationships as the foundation of stellar design: collaboration as the space where creativity can thrive, and where understanding lived experiences make for better outcomes.
Outside the studio, Celeste finds balance in painting — textured acrylics, florals, abstract landscapes, and charcoal — each a way of layering movement and material into something lasting. She loves long walks, a lot of the 1975, and has an unabashed affection for Sex and the City (She’s Charlotte, she’ll say). Much like Charlotte, Celeste is a romantic at heart — sharing her eye for elegance and optimism in the face of chaos. But unlike Charlotte, she’s not afraid of a little mess if it leads to better design.
