Clément Valdelievre
Growth Manager
London
Since 2026
Clément works at New Genre as a Growth Manager, where he brings a deeply consultative approach to studio partnerships and business expansion.
His role spans growth, partnerships, and account strategy: a position that demands a delicate balance of business savoir-faire and an excellence in outbound faire-savoir.
Raised in the crisp terrain of the French Alps, his perspective on growth is shaped by patience and deliberate navigation; he views business development not as a transactional dance, but as an act of careful curation, aligning creative ambition with the sharp mechanics of business.
His career began in Lyon, where he spent several years studying law and business before moving into account management from a sense of excitement for working with big-name brands. This curiosity led him to Paris for eight years, ascending from hands-on account management to leading teams as an Account Director at major creative advertising agencies.
Outside the studio, Clément’s rhythm is dictated by a love for electronic music. A lifelong vinyl collector, he is the solo engine behind Daydream Records, an independent record label. From waxing lyrical about french house, to digging for undiscovered artists, and to coordinating international distribution — for Clément, receiving a package of brilliant new demos from an artist is “a feeling better than Christmas”.
Whether he is digging for a rare piece of electronica or pitching a prospective client, Clément operates on the belief that a truly great collaboration relies on striking the perfect accord — a shared rhythm, sharp tempo, and a refusal to just play the same old notes as everybody else.
